Dustex
The application rate of Dustex is typically 0.2 kg/m2 per 10 mm thickness, 1kg/m2 per 50 mm thickness; Rejuvenation and maintenance application rates are typically 0.1kg/m2 and the frequency depends on the road material characteristics, application method, road drainage, traffic and climatic conditions.
Dustex is also commonly used for Broadacre application to prevent dust generation and wind erosion. The application is applied with pressure spray nozzles to treat coal, mineral stock piles and sand dunes, forming a protective crusting layer of 10-15 mm against dust generation and wind erosion. The application rate is typically 2-3 applications of 0.12 kg/m2 solutions for such Broad acre application.
